Alasdair graduated from university in 2009 with an MA in History. He spent 5 years working in the commercial property market in London before attaining his CeMAP qualification and becoming a Mortgage and Protection Adviser in 2016, jumping straight into a self-employed role within Trinity Finance. To reflect his continued success in the industry, he has recently been promoted to Associate Director.

Alasdair is Trinity Finance’s longest-serving broker and has won the coveted ‘Consultant of the Year’ award every year since 2017. He has helped organise a wide variety of financial products for clients, ranging from residential and buy-to-let mortgages to portfolio reviews as well as secured loans and bridging finance. He likes to form a close relationship with his clients and most of his new business comes from client referrals. In their reviews, Alasdair’s clients commend his friendly and easily understood approach to giving advice as well as his drive to find the best solutions for their needs, often going above and beyond to do so. The introducers Alasdair works with are in areas where let-to-buy mortgages are popular so he is an expert in guiding clients through the process of renting out their existing homes to move forward and buy new homes.

Alasdair has clients spread across Edinburgh and Kent and holds a unique understanding of both the English and Scottish home-buying systems. He works with estate agents throughout Kent and solicitors and estate agents in Edinburgh to help clients on their property journeys.

Alasdair is interested in politics and is a keen guitar player. He has a wife and two young children who are possibly not so keen on his guitar playing!
