Jon has worked within a number of different areas of financial services and he now specialises in advising on and arranging mortgage and protection products. He completed the CeMAP qualification in early 2018 before taking up his current position within Trinity Finance as a consultant and is currently based in Thomas Brown Estates in Orpington.

Whilst the majority of his clients opt to go into the office in Orpington for an appointment, Jon recognises that it can be difficult to find the time in busy schedules to do so. He aims to make the process as convenient as possible for you and offers the option of home visits within the Bromley borough in addition to both telephone and Skype appointments.

Jon can advise on all your mortgage needs from a standard residential purchase through to portfolio landlords and commercial mortgages. He specialises in helping first-time buyers who are at the beginning of their journeys on the property ladder, providing guidance and clear information in order to take away the stress of buying a first home. He will be there throughout the process, not just to arrange the mortgage but to be a central point of contact who can liaise with estate agents, conveyancers, surveyors and lenders right through to when you finally get the keys to your new home.

Jon recognises that the home-buying process can be a daunting one with a number of challenges and hurdles. He aims to take the stress out of buying your new home by giving clear information in your first appointment on all aspects of the home-buying process, ensuring you are fully informed.

It’s never too early to start planning when it comes to looking at your mortgage options. It should be your first consideration (before you even begin booking viewings) to ascertain an accurate understanding of your borrowing capacity. You can then search for properties that will fit within your available budget, moving on to obtain an agreement in principle so that when you reach the point of making an offer, we have taken the necessary steps to get the property taken off the market as quickly as possible.

Jon is a clear, concise communicator who recognises that everyone is different with varied experiences and he aims to ensure that he presents information in a way that is tailored to your needs rather than by following a standard procedure. He takes a problem-solving approach so if your situation is complex and outside of the mainstream lenders’ criteria, he will work tirelessly to try and find an option to enable you to get the mortgage you need to buy your new home.

Jon is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing golf, football and tennis when time allows, whilst also regularly attending the gym and running, which he finds are good stress relievers. He is also serving his second term as an elected trustee at Bromley Baptist Church, overseeing governance matters and responsibilities to the Charity Commission. Jon enjoys spending time with friends and family when he’s not in the office and, having lived in the area for the majority of his life, he has a good knowledge of residential areas in the London Borough of Bromley and is more than happy to provide information on the local area.
