With a degree in Accounting & Finance, the CeMAP mortgage qualification, the DipFA diploma in financial advice, and membership of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB), Omer Mehmet has built a reputation as both a finance specialist and property professional.
Omer began his career at Countrywide Mortgage Services, quickly gaining recognition and winning awards for excellence in client service and written business. Soon after, he transitioned into self-employment, advising clients through Robinson Jackson estate agents before founding Trinity Finance in 2015.
Today, Omer leads a team of over 40 professionals, including 32 mortgage brokers and specialists across administration, marketing, finance, and compliance. As Managing Director, he focuses on business growth, coaching advisers, leading strategic sales meetings, and strengthening introducer relationships.
Omer is also a proud member of the NACFB, reinforcing his and Trinity’s commitment to the highest professional standards in commercial and development finance.

Omer isn’t just an adviser—he is an active landlord, developer, and investor. His experience spans:
- Ground-Up Developments: Delivering new-build housing schemes from land acquisition and planning through to completion and exit.
- HMO & Co-Living Conversions: Multiple high-quality HMO projects across South East London and Kent, including residential-to-C4 conversions and larger 7–8 bedroom schemes.
- Commercial-to-Residential Conversions: Unlocking value through planning, compliance, and finance structuring.
- Auction & Bridging Finance: Expertise built through personally buying and selling at both traditional and modern method auctions, as well as advising numerous clients on auction purchases under strict deadlines.
This blend of hands-on delivery and finance knowledge enables Omer to structure deals that are not only lender-ready but also practical in the real world.

- Tunbridge Wells – 4 New-Build Homes: GDV ~£2.25m. Delivered land-to-exit, with all units sold within 12 months of completion.
- South East London & Kent – HMO Conversions: Converted multiple properties into co-living HMOs, including resi-to-C4 and 7–8 bedroom schemes, consistently achieving strong rental demand and valuations between £500k–£600k.
- Bristol – PBSA Refinance: Coordinated refinance of a 70-studio purpose-built student accommodation scheme, securing c.£7m against an £11.5m valuation to optimise long-term cash flow.
Speaking, Teaching & Media
As a recognised voice in the UK property investment community, Omer regularly speaks at property events, seminars, and workshops, including the Kent Property Meet and other national networking platforms.
He has also hosted specialist Commercial Property and HMO Workshops, where he shares practical lessons from his own projects alongside leading industry experts.
He runs the OMZ Property Podcast and YouTube channel, where he interviews developers, investors, and industry professionals, as well as showcasing live site visits and project updates. His content gives viewers and listeners an inside look at HMOs, conversions, and ground-up developments.
